TBAA

touched by an angel banner

Just 6 months after having studied Uloom AlQuran during Route 114 with Shaykh Yasir Qadhi, Tayybah’s back in Queens in the exact same location for Tafseer Juz’ Amma: Touched by An Angel with Shaykh Shpendim Nadzaku!

Being the first to receive this course after a very long time, Tayybah also has the unique privilege of being the very first students of Shaykh Shpendim, a brand new Almaghrib Instructor. Providing us with lessons on akhlaaq through his manners and speech, the Shaykh transmits to us the precious knowledge of the Quran. As we learn about the words of Allah, through his unique and powerful delivery we are blown away by the beauty and meaning contained in this one Juz. There are moments of profound awe that give us a newfound appreciation for these oft recited suwar.

Throughout the next two weekends, We learned a lot and we laughed alot. From the Shaykh’s repeated testimonials on the Tayybah Mug, to the excitement of the cupcakefest, the comical Tayybahdemics skit and the Surah Kawthar recitation competition that resulted in a brother singing, this seminar was truly unforgettable. At the conclusion of this seminar, Tayybah was left with many Gems to reflect on, a special attachment to the Shaykh, and a great longing to hear him address us once again… “Tayybah, Yous are in my duaas”

Memorable Moment

Brother A: “I think I’m in Love”

Brother B: “I love you too, for the sake of Allah”

Brother A: “No, I mean a Sister”

Brother B: “Astaghfirullah Akhi, that’s haraam!”

…And the skit continues, at the conclusion of which Tayybah’s next class is announced…. FIQH of LOVE!!!!
